About Us

Adrienne Ambrozic is a registered social worker who received her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 1986.  Her employment history has largely been in the area of children’s mental health, and high conflict divorce.  Adrienne has  been qualified by the courts as an expert in the area of child and family assessment, and has provided clinical intervention to individuals, and couples in a hospital setting.

Ms. Ambrozic has co-lead groups for both sexually abused children and  non-offending parents, was an active member of the Public Speaker’s Bureau when employed by the Children’s Aid Society of Metropolitan Toronto, and regularly provided training to child representation lawyers and clinical investigators when employed as a Supervisor  of field agents by the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. Adrienne is currently on the clinical panel for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, and has conducted court ordered custody/access assessments for more than 20 years.

Adrienne has maintained a commitment to continuing her education in the field of social work since obtaining her M.S.W., and has received training in the areas of Child Protection, Alternative Dispute Resolution, High Conflict Divorce, Addictions, Couples Counseling, Trauma Assessment, Treatment of Anxiety, Panic and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Family Violence, Parenting, the Link between Childhood Trauma and Mental Illness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Adrienne is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and bound to uphold a strict code of ethics that is subject to scrutiny by a regulatory body.  She is also a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Social Workers, and is fully insured.  Adrienne has also acted as an Oral Examiner for candidates applying for membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
